Self-introduction

Hello, my name is Wanchen. I am from Shanghai, China. I went to Toronto for my high-school learning when I was 14. After four-year-study, I decided to study art and design in college, because I believe it can cultivate my abilities for aesthetic appreciation and creative thinking. And I went to New York. The reason why I chose to change the city is because I think it is a wonderful city for artists and designers. And I really enjoy exploring different countries. In my opinion, each city has its own characteristics, you know, being able to live and study in various cities has inspired me a lot. I like this feeling of always challenging myself and getting out of the comfort zone. This is also the reason why I decided to come to London for my postgraduate study.

LCC is the school I yearn for most in the postgraduate application process, because it not only offers the best media programs that I like, but also has a strong artistic atmosphere. Currently, I find myself quite used to the new university-life. I like the pace of the schedule, as well as the content of every course I am taking right now. Meanwhile, it is nice that every day after class, I still got plenty of time to do other things, for example going to see an exhibition, going shopping, and maybe visiting different tourist-attractions.
